Originally from Houston, Texas, Mark earned his BS in Political Science and Liberal Studies before taking part in the International Energy Lawyer Program between the University of Houston Law Center and the University of Calgary. His international perspective is informed by his family background as the child of first generation immigrants from Hungary.
He graduated with a JD from both Universities and articled with the
AESO with a Secondment to Norton Rose Fulbright. Over the course of his Articles and internships, he has developed deep experience with and specializes in civil litigation, energy, and administrative law. In his free time he enjoys reading and painting miniatures.
Mark was called to the Alberta Bar in 2025.
